Two commitments we don't bend on

Radical fee transparency

In Italy, a quoted price is often just an opening idea — what actually gets done, how, and on what timeline, can shift once work begins, in bureaucracy as much as with builders. Holding the scope, the sequence and the budget in place, start to finish, is the real service.

No supplier markups. Every referral commission we receive — from a contractor, an artisan, anyone — is disclosed to you in writing. Salotto isn't free, but set against what most foreign buyers lose to scope creep and guesswork, it pays for itself.

Rooted in the trades

This isn't a slogan. Several of the young people in our own office come from difficult backgrounds, and we intend to keep it that way as we grow.

We also seek out the small, family-run workshops trying to pass their craft on to the next generation, and give them the continuity to do it — often the same ateliers that end up restoring your house.
